Right out the gate the Broncos suffocated Strength 'N Motion and forced a plethora of early turnovers as NMMI jumped out to a 16-5 lead as Kiffen Teixeira scored one of his two field goals in the afternoon. With the lead, NMMI continued to score and did so at will as they took a 13-point lead with the help of a bucket by Taye Williams with just over nine minutes left in the half.
However, Strength 'N Motion attempted to come back but they were unable to stop the Broncos offensively as they did what they wanted. In the final minutes of the first half, the Broncos held an 18-point lead (their largest of the half) as they held the visitors to just 23 first-half points. In the first 20 minutes both Kiffen Teixeira and Carlos Mata each scored seven points to lead the way for NMMI. In his 10 minutes of action in the first half, Rushawn Green led all players with four assists. Allowing Strength 'N Motion to shoot 9-for-30, NMMI held a 41-23 lead heading into halftime.

In the second half the Broncos flexed their muscles. After growing their lead to over 20 points, NMMI set the tone for the final 14 minutes of the contest. With 13:55 remaining, the Broncos were able to maintain at least a 21-point advantage to close out the game. In the final minute of the game, NMMI extended their lead to 36 points after Anatoli Da Silva converted his three-point play opportunity. The home team allowed just six points in the final five minutes as the Broncos secured the 88-51 blowout win on Saturday afternoon.
Head Coach Sean Schooley on the win, "First of all, thank coach Mason for coming down and helping up prepare for conference play," Schooley said. "So, we didn't shoot the ball that well and that's expected coming back trying to get some rust out, but everybody played and contributed one way or another." Schooley on allowing 32% shooting by the visitors, "I think we're a really good defensive team. We're not great yet but we sometimes have a tendency to let up, and we just can't have that in the league," Schooley said.
