On Sunday afternoon New Mexico Military closed out the regular-season with a 7-3 loss in game three of the series, followed by a 22-7 in the final game of the series against New Mexico Junior College. However, the Broncos took the first two games of the series 6-5 and 13-5. With the split the Broncos end the regular-season with a 38-18 overall record and 22-14 mark in conference play. NMJC ends the season with a 21-15 record in conference play with a 35-20 overall record.

GAME 1

The Thunderbirds struck first in the opening frame, using an RBI double from J. Mejias and a shallow single by S. Morales to jump out to a 2–0 lead. However, NMMI answered immediately in the bottom of the first when Javier Yepiz crushed a two-run home run to center field, knotting the game at two.

Pitching then took center stage as both sides traded scoreless frames until the fifth. With two runners on, M. Brewer delivered the game's decisive blow—a clutch two-run double to center that reclaimed the lead for NMJC. The Thunderbirds padded their cushion in the sixth behind a two-RBI single from J. Diaz, who finished the day as a consistent spark plug for the offense.

NMMI attempted a late rally in the sixth, scoring once on a Wonjae Cho double, but M. Castillo slammed the door in the seventh, striking out two to finalize the win. Despite NMMI's early power display, NMJC's ability to manufacture runs in the middle innings proved the difference.

GAME 2

The Thunderbirds set the tone in the 1st inning when J Diaz opened the scoring with a solo home run. NMJC quickly extended the lead to 4-0 behind a two-run single from M Brewer and a C Popejoy double. NMMI responded briefly in the bottom half with a two-run blast from Missael Maldonado Baez, but the Thunderbirds' momentum proved unstoppable.

NMJC's lineup remained lethal through the middle innings, but the floodgates truly opened in the 6th and 7th. C Savage was the standout performer, launching two home runs in consecutive innings, including a two-run double in the 7th that pushed the score to 22-6. Z Altamura added to the score with a two-run shot of his own in the final frame.

On the mound, R Rojas provided stability for NMJC, navigating early trouble to keep the NMMI bats at bay. Despite late home runs from Issac Loya and Alec Guevara, the deficit was insurmountable.
