On Saturday afternoon New Mexico Military hosted No. 8 Trinity Valley Community College as part of Homecoming weekend at the Wool Bowl. With the 56-18 loss, the Broncos dip to 3-5 overall with a 2-4 mark in conference play. With the win, Trinity Valley improves to 5-1 in SWJCFC play with a 7-1 overall record.

The Broncos opened the game with a 65-yard scoring drive that used up over five minutes of the clock. In the 9-play drive, Dylan Donahoe recorded six quick carries to set up a 27-yard field goal by Jack Nelson, who drilled it through the uprights to give NMMI a 3-0 advantage.
Trinity Valley moved the ball 50 yards before Jamary Williams recorded a 13-yard rushing touchdown to cap off a 7-play, 62-yard touchdown drive to take a 7-3 lead with 6:52 remaining in the opening frame.
Q2
On their first drive of the second quarter, the Cardinals found the end zone with a 15-yard passing touchdown from Kaden Brown to Ashtin Watkins as Trinity Valley moved the ball 76-yards in seven plays to take a 14-3 advantage. Following an NMMI punt, the Cardinals scored again. This time, Caden Brown found Austin Abram III from 20 yards out to give the visitors a 21-3 lead with 8:44 on the clock.
On their third possession of the quarter, Trinity Valley conducted a 12-play, 84-yard drive that used up 3:40 off the clock. For his third touchdown pass of the half, Caden Brown connected with Ja'Mikael Davus from 38 yards to make it a 28-3 game.
Q3
On the opening kickoff of the second half, the Broncos forced a fumble, but their offensive drive stalled out as they failed to convert on fourth down. In just four plays, the Cardinals took a 35-3 lead with a 39-yard touchdown pass by Jackson La Tour to Germonie Davis with 11:09 in the third quarter.
With an immediate response, Geramyah Porter took the kickoff 87 yards to the house, for his second kickoff return touchdown of the year. After a successful two-point rush attempt by Sililo Hehea, the Broncos made it a 35-11 game.
On the ensuing possession, the Cardinals scored again as Jackson La Tour connected with Demetrius Pearce from 45 yards out to give the visitors a 42-11 lead in the third.
Q4
With their second possession of the quarter, the Broncos conducted a 18-play, 68-yard drive that was capped off by a 3-yard rushing touchdown by Jake South to make it a 42-18 game with 6:45 remaining in the contest.
On the next two possessions, Trinity Valley would find the end zone twice to secure the 56-18 win.
