Perilli finishes top five, Broncos place 6th at T-Bird Invite

On Tuesday afternoon, New Mexico Military concluded play at the T-Bird Invite at the Community Links Golf Course in Hobbs, NM. As a team the No. 17 ranked Broncos placed 6th at the Invitational. Sophomore Gianbattista Perilli placed 5th individually, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Freshman Joseph Suh finished tied for 7th individually.

Gianbattista Perilli turned in a brilliant round of 66 (-6) on day two of the tournament as he finished seven different holes under par. On day one he turned in two rounds of 73 (+1) to keep a consistent score both days.

Joseph Suh improved every round of the tournament. Suh opened day one hitting 74(+2) and followed that with a 70(-2) round two performance. The freshmen ended up improving by one stroke, hitting a 71(-1) in day two.
