ROSWELL, NM – On June 27, 2025, a special appearance by Mexican professional soccer star Oribe Peralta will be held at the Pearson Auditorium located on the New Mexico Military Institute campus.

Peralta is a four-time Liga MX champion and an Olympic gold medalist, helping Mexico earn the gold at the 2012 games in London, scoring both goals in a 2-1 win over Brazil.

Peralta will share valuable insights and experiences during a motivational seminar designed to inspire and motivate young athletes to pursue their dreams with dedication and determination. The conference will be open to general admission, and tickets can be purchased online at www.coltsoccercamp.com. ­­­­

The talk by Peralta is also precursor to a summer soccer camp which will take place next year in June 2026. This camp will be a week-long event, held at the New Mexico Military Institute, organized by Sandstorm Sports.

The camp promises to be a remarkable soccer experience for young athletes aged 14 to 17, featuring exceptional instruction from professional staff from Club Santos Laguna, a Liga MX member recognized for developing young talent with multiple championships across several youth groups.

Culminating the June 2026 camp will be a special closing day conference with a yet-to-be-announced international soccer star.
